Abstract

Often, profession vocal training is prohibatively expensive and time consuming. So, a computer program designed to give similar advice to a vocal coach would be very useful to those unable to afford the price or time needed for traditional singing lessons. Using various algorithms to compare the signals produced by a human voice, such as cosine similarities and Euclidian distances, vocals are quantified and compared to an index voice to see how "correct" the person's attempt is.
