Abstract
The University of New Hampshire has been retained by the City of Dover, New Hampshire to provide professional Architect/Engineer (A/E) services for the development of a stormwater best management plan (BMP) in the parcel located at 1 Washington Street, Dover NH also locally referred to as Henry Law Park. The park is owned and operated by the City of Dover and is located in a heavily urbanized area in downtown Dover along the Cocheco River. Its location and public use has caused the City to seek a BMP that effectively treats and manages stormwater runoff from the urban area and is designed to manage sea level rise from the Cocheco River. These improvements will continue the City of Dover’s pioneering approach to stormwater management and seacoast resiliency in the state of New Hampshire. Services to be provided include acquiring field data, site design, design development, current and future stormwater flows, construction documents, specifications, cost estimates and site visits.
