Mini Baja Racing

This years Mini Baja SAE team consists of seven Mechanical Engineers advised by Dr. Todd Gross. The Mini Baja team's goal is to design and fabricate a fully functional off road vehicle with the intent to compete at the SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) competition. The vehicle must be capable of handling rough terrain such as boulders, logs, rocks and mud. It must also meet all safety requirements of the competition and be able to withstand endurance events without breaking. Another part of the BAJA SAE competition was multiple design submissions, cost reduction reports and a manufacturing plan along with a business presentation for large scale production of the vehicle. The UNH BAJA team was responsible for all fundraising efforts to pay for parts, fabrication and travel costs.
