This poster looks at the delineated full bank width of 2 rivers over time and estimates the erosion and deposition rates specially along the length of the Mad and Isinglass Rivers. As weather events become more extreme and unpredictable due to climate change, monitoring erosion and deposition along rivers can save millions of dollars and lives of the people that live within the floodplain of rivers. Erosion and deposition are the main drivers of river migration which can cause detrimental damage to infrastructure if the avulsion event is within an urban environment. Infrastructure changes may be built to mitigate damage by knowing the areas most susceptible to erosion and deposition.
