Trash vs. Technology

Welcome to Trash vs. Technology! Our group has a goal of highlighting the potential of recycling through rebuilding and upgrading uncommon objects. With this vision in mind, we started our movement by rebuilding an RC car with the power of 3D printing. With supporting statistics in excess scrap metal and the RC car industry, we attempted to put a fun twist on the recycling industry. Our process included accurate measuring, a lot of SolidWorks modeling, and 3D printing at the Olsen Center. After our final construction, we created what lies before you, in addition to scrapping multiple ideas on additions to the RC car, such as ski attachments for winter weather.
