Abstract
Coastal areas often experience high tides that cause flooding in residential areas, and as climate change worsens, the need for accurate data significantly increases. With that in mind, we created four waterproof instruments that house temperature and pressure sensors. We plan to deploy these instruments in a coastal area of Hampton, NH, a community that is impacted by frequent flooding. After analyzing the data collected, we hope to be able to give the residents of Hampton accurate information on the frequency and severity of the flooding.
