Abstract
The purpose of this project was to investigate the methods to maximize solar panel efficiency. As of today, solar energy is the most promising form of renewable energy. Solar panels are inexpensive, readily available, and easy to install. Today's solar panels lack the energy efficiency to compete with high efficiency nonrenewable energy sources. To investigate solar panel efficiency, a solar tracking device will be constructed. The power production of this device will be compared with a stationary solar panel.
