The poster goes over the app TrafficWX and shows how amateur storm chasers can use it to escape severe warnings. This app was developed in Android Studio and was coded in Java and Kotlin. The app uses GPS location and searches to see if the user is inside an NWS weather alert that is displayed on the map and then if the user is within a car, it takes the user to Google Maps and gives them the most efficient route out of the warning. It does take into consideration other warnings adjacent or possible new warnings that could be issued to make sure the chaser is safe. This app has been tested by a group of amateur storm chasers and it worked wonderfully. Further development of the app will be continued as well
