	Abstract
When thinking about buying an electric scooter, they usually cost about $300-600 dollar. They are the means of transportation for most college students, especially here on the UNH campus. The thought behind this project was to see whether or not it was possible to build a working DIY electric scooter with a smaller budget compared to what they normally cost. The budget for this project was $200, $100 for each participant/partner. In the end, after acquiring all the parts for the scooter, the total amount spent was under $100. This left the budget with basically $100 to spare incase anything broke or did not work. In the end, while yes it was possible to build one instead of buying one, there were some issues that were later discovered about the model that we made.
