Abstract

This project focuses on the design, implementation, and analysis of an automated quality inspection system for Hutchinson Sealing Systems of Newfields, NH. The project's main objective is to create an accurate and economical system to inspect the 2023 Honda Pilot side panel primarily using a smart camera, PLC, and collaborative robot. The project explores the methodology behind the design, the cost benefits of implementing the system, and methods to optimize the system in the future.
