UNH EMR is a re-creation of the popular Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, EPIC EMR, tailored for nursing students at the University of New Hampshire. The React Redux web application aims to provide comprehensive educational features and enhance clinical readiness. Students can access simulated patient data, including medical history, medications, allergies, and test results. They can contribute notes and collaborate on advanced care plans, all managed by educators. The platform assists in evaluating student progress, with professors able to monitor usage and efficiency. With a user-friendly interface and backend SQL database storing patient records, care plans, and notes, UNH nursing department plans to integrate this solution into their curriculum to better prepare students for EMR utilization in real healthcare settings. This web application has been given to nursing students and teachers accompanied by a Likert survey which proves its usefulness to medical education. This UNH EMR is still early in its development and will be expanded upon by future UNH Seniors until it is comparable to production-level EMR's that are used today.
